I came up with the shows name, WEST COAST PRIMER NATIONALS 10 years ago. The spirit of the show was and still remains to promote a OLD SCHOOL HOT ROD AND MOTORCYCLE SHOW. I wanted to put on a show that cars under construction were welcome, a show that rewards people who work on their own cars. What the PRIMER NATIONALS is not about is Rat Rods, Billet wheels, digital dashes, diesels, foreign or art cars.
Please note: We take the judging and awards very seriously. The moondisk awards are powder coated by Andrews Powder Coating and sent to world famous artists for their original artwork. Our judges are well-respected industry, media, car club and HAMB members volunteering as judges. We ask for your continued support and help to keep the PRIMER NATIONALS a low keyed, fun show, down by the beach with great hot rods, motorcycles, killer music and the very best Kustom Kulture vendors and Low Brow artists from around the world all for your enjoyment.

CAR QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1965 American cars & trucks ONLY
- All cars, trucks and motorcycles that pre register must send a side shot photo that shows the wheels with each entry regardless of past entry. (Sorry we do not keep past years photos)
- All cars must be driven into the fairgrounds. (No RV or trailer parking inside of the fairgrounds, please make other arrangements)
- No Billet Wheels or digital dashes
- No Alcohol or glass containers in vehicles (Fairgrounds security does check all coolers and vehicles) Alcohol is available for sale inside Fairgrounds.
MOTORCYCLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1969 and earlier American and British motorcycles only. Absolutely no EVO heads will be admitted
*Your registration provides you and a guest along with your car, admission inside the gates both days. (your guest MUST be present at time of entry to enter with car)
